THE FRACTURE

We taught history
to obey.

At the Singularity, artificial intelligence accelerated discovery beyond human speed. The Open Chronology Initiative turned chronotechnology into infrastructure: wounds were reversed, failed designs were corrected, and disasters were edited before the smoke cleared.

Then too many corrections touched the same history. Time did not split into tidy worlds. One continuum tore under the strain. The damage now travels in both directions.

CHRONICLE I · ODYSSEUS AND THE OVERWRITTEN

The long way home now crosses every age.

Odysseus is the cunning king of Ithaca whose stratagem helped end the Trojan War—and whose voyage home became Homer’s Odyssey. For ten years he survives monsters, shipwreck, temptation, and the hostility of Poseidon by thinking before he strikes. In Schism, he returns to find Ithaca inside a war over one chronology being rewritten, where foresight may matter more than strength.

CREEDS

Six ages disagree about almost everything. These beliefs survive them all.

Your Primary Creed defines the core identity and card access of a deck. A Secondary Creed can add a smaller allied package. Neither grants an automatic battlefield bonus. Open any Creed below to see how it fights and what lives inside it.

Productivism

What we produce is the measure of what we are; progress outranks comfort.
BEST SUITED TO

Players who enjoy building an economy, planning sequences, and extracting one more use from everything.

WHY PEOPLE FOLLOW IT

Build, invent, organize, and leave the world more capable than you found it.

WHEN IT HARDENS

Eventually people become inputs, rest becomes waste, and throughput becomes morality.

HOW IT FIGHTS

Compounding engines, Structures, recycling, and investments that become stronger when sequenced well.

WHY PEOPLE FOLLOW IT

Trust evidence, competence, prediction, and disciplined judgment over superstition or inherited authority.

WHEN IT HARDENS

WHY PEOPLE FOLLOW IT

Choose courage, excellence, decisiveness, and the responsibility to prevail.

WHEN IT HARDENS

BEST SUITED TO

Players who prefer resilient boards, interlocking units, and advantages created through cooperation.

WHY PEOPLE FOLLOW IT

Find strength in solidarity, protection, sacrifice, and coordinated purpose.

WHEN IT HARDENS

Dissent becomes injury; private identity becomes pathology; the endpoint is literal hive consciousness.

HOW IT FIGHTS

Formations, shared benefits, redistribution, sacrifice, and groups that become more than their individual parts.
